Mysore School of Design (MSD) started in the year 2021 by Late Kusumabai Memorial Charitable Trust (R), under the recognition of University of Mysore, Government of Karnataka, as a specialised programme.

MSD – first of its kind in Heritage city of Mysore has come into existence for providing quality education and exposure, so that the students have a great chance to fill the need supply gap and become professionals to reckon within the Design industry.

The students are introduced to various principles of Art and Design, with the help of modern day technology and hands on training in many up to date software programmes for the uncompromised understanding to enter the world of Design.

In the light of the importance given to construction and real estate there is a spurt of heavy demand of New Interior Designers worldwide. MSD has taken a challenging task, to train the students with the state-of-the-art infrastructure and to enrich their knowledge as per global requirements to pursue their dream projects. In school, we groom the students to develop the ability to understand the problem in detail, to communicate effectively with the practical design solutions and to involve with multidisciplinary design avenues. The pedagogy is designed to encourage the students for innovative and creative ventures.
